05Straight answers

Before you ask.

Most of these come up at the counter every week.

The Denver classic.70°F afternoon, 20°F morning, tire light on. Pressure drops about 1 psi for every 10°F. Air up before you worry.

Is the light decoder a real diagnosis?

No. It's a guide to what a light usually means, how urgent it is and a rough sample price. A technician confirms on the car, and the written quote replaces any range you see here. Every price on this site is a sample for a fictional business.

What does a diagnosis cost?

In this sample: $120 for a check-engine or warning-light diagnosis. It comes off the bill if we do the fix. Reading the code alone is free.

What if you find something else while it's here?

You get a text with a photo and a price. Nothing extra happens until you reply YES. If you'd rather talk, reply CALL and we ring you.

Why does my tire light come on every cold morning?

Tire pressure drops about 1 psi for every 10°F. A 70°F afternoon followed by a 20°F Denver morning can take a tire under the warning line. Fill to the number on the driver's door sticker; if one tire keeps dropping, it's probably a slow leak.

Can I drop my car off before the shop opens?

Yes. The key drop box by the side door is open around the clock. Leave the key in an envelope with your name and number, and you'll get a text once we've looked at it.

What cars do you work on?

In this sample: most cars, small SUVs and light trucks, gas and hybrid. If we're not the right shop for your car, we'll say so on the phone and point you to someone who is.

Book a drop-off
